My Sonnet To You Poem by Malia Ramos

My Sonnet To You

I show all my love to you in a poem
When I see you sad it makes my hear sink
I hate the unbarring sound of your moan
Your eyes are cold like an ice skating rink
Your hearty laugh is always full of life
I really hate it when you rarely cry
Day after day you’ve been a pleasant sight
Why must you always be terribly shy?
When I see you smile there’s so much beauty
Your eyes always glisten in morning light
Your hair always smells so very fruity
The way your teeth shine is ever so bright
You know I’ll cry on the day we must part
But I promise, you’ll never leave my heart.

(Sonnet)
