My Soul Wane Poem by Winston Harding

My Soul Wane

Rating: 5.0

Lord, my soul wane in hearing,
Reading, seeing the destruction
Of Your world, Your paradise.
Evil spirit taking control of your creation.
From near and far, humanity destroying
Themselves without just cause
Parent against children, government
Leaders against citizens of their land.
Who shall be given the remedy of humanity?
Come Saviour of humanity, come, reign!

Leaders of moral persuasion, stilled!
Their voices no where to be heard;
Their action in quietness, a-crying from others
Is humanity going back to ancient times;
Right here, in the age of technology?
Are we from another time of uncaring?

To those who Dare to stand up for faith
Dare to stand up for love
Dare to stand up for hope
Let Your will come forth and
Awaken their quiet spirit
To speak courageously to their neighbours,
To leaders of their countries
To see You as the answer.

To You all my sincerity goes,
For You only shall reign forever
And let the people who are embedded
With love in their hearts say,
Amen, Amen and Amen

Winston, If you've checked me out you'll note I'm an Eckist, a follow of the Eckankar teachings. If interested in learning more about the role of karma and its societal impact, check out the Eckankar.org site, I especially like the daily quote messages there.
