My Sweet Desire Poem by MoNique Jones

My Sweet Desire

She wants him
With every bone in her body
Having thoughts of them together
Just puts a smile
On her face

Seeing his smile
Makes her day
She gets a quiver
Down her spine

Keeping her hope alive
Trying to make him understand
That he has the key to her heart

She yearns for his touch
Her sweet desire to feel her fingers
Interwined with his

She needs him,
Does he need her? ? ? ?

I knew that last line was coming. That is always the question and the doubt that invades the mind of every girl who falls in love. With good reason, I might add. So, this poem is right on target. That's good. That's real good. GW62
