My soul is tortured
With memories of you
Struggling with feelings
I wish would go away
My heart is trying to heal
From the lies you told
I'm having a hard time
Coming to terms with everything
Having to admit to myself
That i'm not over you
The pain cuts like a knife
As my love for you bleeds out
And stains my soul
I want to forget you
And erase you from my memory
When i think of you
I feel heartache and pain
Sometimes it's too much to bear
And i cry a river of tears
I want to be rid of you
So my tortured soul
Can be healed
