My True Friends Poem by LaTisha Parkinson

My True Friends

True friends, not many do I have
And I hope that the little bit will last
Holding them very close to my heart

I have always loved them from the start
They mean all the world to me
Without my friends I couldn’t possibly be me

For them all I will always care
And our memories I shall treasure and share
I’m good to them and they’re good to me

I believe them all to be my family
Trying to keep everything good
Giving them a lot more than I should

But that don’t count
As long as I have my friends,
That what it’s all about
