My True Love Poem by Jay Rabbit

My True Love

Rating: 5.0

The day we met I was but a shy little girl.
As I entered the classroom late
Everyone stared as I sat

I sat in the front alone and scared
Knowing no one in the class
I knew I was to be alone

It was not but a few days later
You managed to catch my eye
Once I saw you I couldn't stop

My stomach fluttered with joy
My words became knots
My heart became yours

As we talked more and more
Everyone swore we were ment to be
But never did I think
You would fall for someone like me

Finally gathering up the courage
To admit my true feelings
you find company with another

A girl so sweet
So kind
And I knew then
You were never to be mine

But that one day had finally come
The day I admit my feelings for thee
Nevertheless my fears were a myth

As to find out
You have fallen for me too
Such joy I have found

The joy to wake up
Everyday
And be able to call you

My true love
