My Twin Self Poem by Tosin Abegunde

My Twin Self

Internal ruler of the external.
Structured in pale white fluid:
The casing of the real man,
Therein my living chances abide
Like the death of a seed for more.

You're clearl' invisibly seen in flesh
Visibl' weak in strength but strong
In him faults and praise abide
But his glory given to his colleag'e
Believed to be up on all errands.

The only serialy broken factor
Fused by tendon from divine.
Weak outside to be strong inward
While I join my ancestors to rest
Only this remain, which you adore.
