My Twin Stranger Poem by Nii Odoom Annoh

He is just like me
The looks the memory and all.
But it does not feel the same.
The acts and thoughts are now strange.
What happened to me.
I know not from whence this man came from.
When he arrived I know not.
But what I know is that he is steering my life on a new cause.
He is taking a lot of my territorial mandate.

I am a very logical person;
But I now have frequent unconscious irrational thoughts.
It just doesn’t make sense.
I am gradually loosing me; the me I have know until my third decade.
Will this twin stranger ever leave me alone
Or I will have to come around and get along with the new me.
Only time will tell.
