My Urchin
My urchin is my pet,
A long time ago we met.
An urchin is for life,
through good and through strife.
I love my urchin,
and he loves me.
I give him a grin,
and he gives me a flea.
My urchin is my pet,
In the sea we both get wet.
His shell is very prickly,
but he's never sea-sickly.
I love my urchin,
He's my one and only pet.
He was once reincarnated,
but I can't convince his vet.
