My Very Own Miracle Poem by Bianca Haw

My Very Own Miracle

Every day I wake
and every night I sleep.
Yet never do I take note
Of the miracle that you keep;

You hold me safe
Care for and comfort me,
No matter what I need,
You’re never too busy

Love, acceptance and fondness
Shine brightly in your eyes
Their grey depths holds so much
And your ears hear my cries

Despite what I may do
And no matter what I do
Never do you judge, merely
Help me and send me on my way

Your heart is warm
Your soul, honest and true
A friendly, chatty personality
Is what draws people to you

That miracle that I love
The one that my heart and soul
Have taken for granted, ignored,
Can never be unkind

A special woman,
A loyal friend
A beautiful wife,
My very own mother...

- I LOVE YOU -
