My Vigils Poem by Shahzia Batool

My Vigils

Rating: 5.0

'I'm more than ready to embark on my paper plane for ransacking the galaxies, plucking the stars, and embroidering them on your eye-lashes...

Tomorrow I'll set sail in my paper boat for stealing the glittering sands, filling up my pockets, I'll be there for rainbowing your garden-croft you plant with care...

I'll make the woods jealous of me by rejecting the arrogance of the wild roses blossomed in their native virginity there; instead, the paper flowers I'll make for you and on them spray the perfume I carry in the un shed, un spilt bucket of my love...

I am ready!

Aloha Shahzia... I have happened upon your posts by chance... that my latest offering had some similarity to one of your word works... and are your submittals ever so there... I too fold my paper into an imagine... using pen to highlight the fabric and incite those who may fly these folded pages, or better yet unfold the words within and find the hidden within the prose... This particular work has attracted my most profound intentions... that you mention your readiness and suggest that your willingness is... all that it is... and these most profound thoughts came through you by source of an image? and this work is so much telling of an ability to weave together those imagines so that we all can sense your determination to share... These simply enticing words are an example of how each human being should think... of all things... I will to peruse more of your posts... and I thank you for this wonderfully delightful work of words... all of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations... Michaelw1two

It is a wonder how you turn paper flowers into fragrant blossoms and bring a dream into reality. Thank you.
