My Wife - The Devil In My Home

How lorn she sat
With sorrow flushing
The fruits of her prime
But her beauty never palls
That night she was
Seeking comfort
In the midnight lyrics
Gushing into the bar

Laugh not at my folly
I was bewitched by
Agents of beauty
Gyrating on her dimpled cheeks

I bought this belle
With bagfull of my sweat
This indegene of midnight bar
Into my stailess home

But as my pockets go dry
I could see her, a viper
I am finished!

When the frost is on the punkin and the fodder's in the shock
And you hear the kyouck and gobble of the struttin' turkey cock
And the clackin' of the guineys, and the cluckin' of the hens
