My Wish Poem by Jan Jelenc

My Wish

Rating: 5.0

even tho you never said goodbye
the unspoken words slit my vains
and the silence shrivered my spine

' always and forever! ',

for you it was not now nor never,

you changed like the weather
and the ease in which your feelings fleed
tore down every last shred of my selfrespect
naked and nubm, but still a smile cringing on the outside

the fact is that true love is rare

therefore I cannot comprehend
how you change yours to another every year and proclaim it is pure

when in truth
I hope you lose that what I shall forevermore crave to be mine as it was then

Oh how i wish my heart would beat again.
