My Words Poem by bubble rao

My Words

Rating: 5.0

I wish my words flowed on paper like music in the still air.
That they were warm, comforting
As if the smell of hot chocolate, steaming had been pressed on the clear white surface.

I wish my words could bring close an emotion.
So fresh and strong that it burnt out your chest leaving an empty hole of longing.

I wish my words were wise
Like an age old teacher sharing life lessons,
Of pain, sorrow, loss,
Of happiness, love, belonging.

I wish my words inspired,
Could heal wounds and broken hearts.
Create a new confidence and tear away the self-doubt.

I wish my words were strong.
Gave strength to those who were weak,
Changing them forever,
Until they could no longer recognize the person that they were before.

I wish my words soared beyond the low roof of my empty room
Dancing, singing,
Sharing life,
Sharing love.

All you can ask for in life is to be loved by all and cared about by all. You can't really expect too much from the world around you. It's a big place, the world and God can't get around to everyone who asks him for advice.
