My Worn Heart Poem by Liilia Talts Morrison

My Worn Heart

See the evening shadows fall
my worn heart has felt so much
it has slowed down to a crawl
yet it pulses to your touch
and still wants to give its all
groping memories to clutch
yet it pulses to your touch
my worn heart has felt so much.
