Myself And Her Poem by Joshua Atkinson

Myself And Her

I thought I knew myself these days,
I knew my paths, my haws, my hays,
But then this girl changed my ways,
I never thought I’d be dazed,
She changed my thought and feeling weighs,
My goals and hopes were now her praise,
We both were struck now in a haze,
But I was unsettled with others surveys,
My false step was done and chance ablaze,
My heart now heavy and in a craze,
I never knew she was in malaise,
She’s gone now but here I gaze,
For another chance one of these days.
