I never thought that I would be
Confused within my mind,
A host of true emotions
Each of a different kind,
I thought that I might like Him, but
Never be it more,
I planned the road quite clearly, but
Forgot the word 'Adore'.
He picked me up and turned me
My life is like a maze,
I thought I might ignore Him, but
His love I truly crave.
He takes me to His Heaven
From there he makes me see,
That in my time
I've never found,
A greater Love than He!
So, I must take the journey
That leads me to His side, and
Let Him take me carefully
On one true emotional ride.
The hours, they are passing
The moment ever near,
For I really, truly, love Him
In my heart, I hold Him dear.
