Mysterious Trees Poem by Dr Shamim ali

Mysterious Trees

Mysterious Trees
Neither you nor I
have ever witnessed wind
Trees bow down their heads
When the wind passes by
To whom the obscurity is a child
Runing in and out of long, green boughs
To whom daylight is a incomplete journey
Where counting their dreams
waiting for darkness to come
strength shelter eternal poise
Bending and firm comforting
Rooted chorus line
Dancing with the moon,
The wind, the clouds
Framing bursts of stars
Tender rugged merriment
Taking in and releasing life
Each sacred tree
Embracing the supremacy of the cosmos
