Mystic Red Rose Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Mystic Red Rose

Pomegranate lips that kiss the night
She dreams visions of endless romance
Spin and weave your fine ivory moonlight
Our hearts with yearning wait the chance

Sealed with refined blossoms of spring
Everything flows like a glorious sea
Waiting for the bells of summer too ring
Portent blows in a sweet south breeze

Love has eyes deeper than the stars
Hear the cry of longing barren souls
She has fire from Venus, ice from Mars
Bring me your magic flowering meadow

Eyes meet each others deep desire
Nothing escapes the hour of light
Hearts revive in an oasis of fire
Fields of eternity glow in the night

Sorrow is being too far away from her
Time touches the altar of hot coals
She rides moonlight as the tides turn
Love burns like a mystic red rose
