As you look intently into the light
Within the green shade of my hazel eyes
Does it have the shimmer of golden sunshine
Or does it have the darkness within a moonless night

Will our gaze be one of strangers
Or will it be one of instant recognition
For is there a bond between us
Will our souls allow our hearts to listen

Did you have knowledge of me before this day
This first day of our worldly meeting
To be of an immeasurable unforgotten love
That was forgotten when we left Heaven

For I do believe Angels have whispered
A name you perceived to be mine
For your name was brought to my attention
In the mist of a mystical moment in time
