Nano-Second Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Nano-Second

One letter
sent slow
I laugh and cry.
Portrait fades
the sky dims
you fade to gray.
Hands tremble
too late
age doubles.
Clock ticks
I look out the window
to wonder about you.
Time dies
you’ve turned
to frail fragment.
Each nano-second
I turn to shadow
I fade.
