Nature Ride Poem by Marilyn Lott

Nature Ride

Have you ever buzzed down the road
On a fun-filled motorcycle ride?
I did, some years ago
And it really did turn the tide

For I saw the world in a different way
Out in the fresh open air
It’s as though nature opened doors
With its beauty it wanted to share

Oh, the colors were just amazing
Like an artists color-filled brush
But of course you need to stop awhile
And listen to nature’s soft gentle hush

Birds out in the warm sun as well
After a dreary cold winter time
It’s like a different world, isn’t it?
One nature thankfully reminds

So whatever way you travel
Get out there, folks and see
A world that nature’s most proud of
And presents to you and to me!
