Nature's Blessings Poem by Jean Dament

Nature's Blessings

Rating: 5.0

While resting in the great outdoors,
I contemplate all that nature's many blessings do implore,
On temperate days when a gentle breeze grazes my face;
With the sun warming... creating a heavenly place,
There's such joy in watching the lively birds feeding so freely; as they come & go,
All the while putting on quite a pleasant show,
Sharing their meals with other creatures in little resistance,
I stop & marvel at this unique co-existence;
Where they even dare to trust my presence so near,
Acting as if I'm not even there;
And there's such beauty abounding from trees & flowers giving a fragrance so sweet;
Leaving my soul refreshed.... feeling complete.
