Nature's Natural Skill - Sonnet No 15

Two fav'rite poets, born in month of October
One on twenty first, other twenty seventh,
Both Celts: Welsh and Irish, whose fathers' were
Professors, so words 'nd books bread 'nd butter
Both outstanding artists: not highly reckoned
Nor honored in their day: at least not until
America raved; discov'ring Dylan Thomas
Peter Kavanagh published brother Patrick:
Not that backward countries, hindered their progress
Or put dampers on knowledge of greatness -
Inbred energy and intuitive will
Creates without need of judge or critic:
For genius, voice of evolution's maverick:
Is born 'n bred from nature's natural skill.
