Flood in the city,
Noise of a crying baby,
Great adversity.
Bridges are destroyed,
Highway became a river,
Farm crops are annoyed.
The home - sweet - homes sank,
Men's dead bodies with their junks,
Waters filled the blanks.
Playgrounds became pools,
Caused by an excessive rain;
Infants learnt to swim.
Put your blame to none,
It is right for us to have,
Expect more to come.
We took her beauty,
Now she will take our life;
We reap what we sow.
What money we earned?
What are the lives we have gained?
Wealth blown with the wind.
The cause and effect
Of nature's gift we had wrecked;
A wrath we must take.
A catastrophe,
A wrath of nature's beauty,
A nature's revenge.
What we do to nature, the nature is still kind, , well written Sechico
it's true when the nature revenge we can do nothing about it but find ways to save our life. We have to protect mother earth even for a simple way. As a former member of Society of Environmentalist Activist we always have activities to inculcate the importance of saving our planet and we did some forest and sea cleaning. Nice piece Juneil thanks...

Nice poem..so painful to find have tampered, destroyed the nature....cutting down tree, diverting the natural river from their natural paths..people are crying now and over the death of their people's... it's a blame...nature must revenge..
This poem has a great purpose and so much wisdom. You have so many meaningful images - 'noise of a crying baby', 'we took her beauty now she will take our life we reap what we sow. 'wealth blown by the wind'. Your title ties up magnificently with the closing stanza and it is very impressive work. 10 Karin Anderson
Very well expressed piece of poetic flow.....I enjoyed reading this emotional write...well done. Keep expressing Jon
u well presented the consequences of treating what nurtures us in an inhuman manner...
This is so strongly yet beautifully thought through - - - is has such appeal in it's report of the event, but with conclusive understanding - - that it needs rereading and digesting to feel the emotions of the writer......... excellent........10 + + + from Fay
