Natures Delight's
I was walking along the footpath
Leading to the local park
The sun was shining down
The grass green and birds
Flying around…I could see the ducks
Swimming in the pond as my dog
Ran around my legs then shot off
To see what that rustle in the distance was
The warmth of the rays made me smile
My dog barking in the distance
At something that tried to run away
The birds singing to each other like a sweet
Musical rhythm to life…oh what a beautiful sight
It's wonderful to just get away
And embrace nature's wonderful delights

That wouldn't happen to be the same dog that filled your dream with doggy kisses wouldn't it? lol Lovely descriptions of your environment, it wasn't rythmatical but their was lyrical and evocative. Made me think of some of my favourite Pink Floyd songs. I'll take nature over relationship poems any day. Fantastic
