Natures Melodies Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Natures Melodies

For everything in nature there is an ebb and flow
A melody to fill the soul

You see it in the flower rare
The scent that permeates the air

A cool breeze that satiates
Or high on top a pearl-tipped peak

Wild birds of every color
A child's laughter and their mother

The sway of dry prairie grass
The waves that come to shore at last

A star to wish upon
The sun that rises at the dawn

A harvest moon
A lovers swoon

God is pleased
with natures melodies

A very enjoyable read. So many pleasant thoughts provoking all the senses. We should pause more often and listen to the melodies feeling the rhythm and flow.
