Near A Wall Poem by robert hamilton

Near A Wall

Eyes open
Near a wall
Stale air
Daylight near
Birds chirp
Car passes
Chilly

Stand up
Near a wall
Collect thoughts
Forgot them all
Fear struck
Two bucks
In pocket
What luck

Walking
Near a wall
Almost six
Feeling sick

Waiting
Near a wall
Car pulls up
Door opens
Fix in sight
Bottle of white
Bills spent
Down white went

Standing
Near a wall
Forgot it all
Again
