Near The Harbour Door Poem by David Harris

Near The Harbour Door

Rating: 4.3

miscThe harbour lights are shining bright
across the still placid waters
as young lovers hand in hand
stroll along the shore.
They stop and kiss under the moonlight
hoping the moment of bliss
will carry on forever and never end.

The beacon of light
shines brightly far off from shore.
To warn of treacherous waters
near the harbour's door.
Perils await for all
who don't take head.
God rest their souls.

A beautifully conceived amazing narration of the sea shore near the harbour and perils posed by nature over there. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
