need to take a break

not knowing where im going

cried out all my tears

waiting for the moment

the moment has passed

before i even knew it

i just gotta slip away

slip away from the pain you caused me

slip away from the crying

slip away from the memories

and most importantly

slipping away from you

you caused me tears

you caused me pain

but now its here no more

and im starting a great new life

without you by my side

without you holding me tight

just me

my friends

and my family

is all i need to have

to live a normal and happy life

without you in it holding me down

with all your pain you left for me to hold

as you walked away

with not even one goodbye

just need to slip away
