If I didn't know any better,
 I'd say she's bringing us together.
The longer you two stay,
The closer we grow eachday.
I have no need to fret,
Though I am a little upset.
No matter what may happen,
You'll still be my friend.
Maybe she doesn't know you,
Or even like you like I do.

I'm waiting for you to see,
That baby, you belong with me.
I want to stare into your eyes,
And give you those butterflies,
I want to love you like she can't.

If you don't want to hold my hand,
I can completely understand.
Just think of how we are,
Look how we've come so far.
Together, nearly perfect,
Maybe waiting is worth it.
I am asking for a chance,
I'm asking for one slow dance.
I just need you to see,
You belong with me.
