Negotiator Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

Negotiator

Rating: 5.0

Melodramatic
Diplomatic
Even occasionally phlegmatic
Roles of the negotiator
Words and thoughts a motivator
Blatantly lying to achieve
Trying hard to deceive
Slight of hand
All, yet nothing planned
Flying by the seat of their pants
Listening to another’s rants
Quickly a mind works its strategy
Sometimes not too far from lunacy
Wielding words as a sword
Hoping to strike that vital chord
Bringing everything slowly calm
No one suffering physical harm
