Neurotic
By Robert R. Railey

Neurotic folks like us may come out to play but lest we forget, we all hail from quite different dimensions
And the answer to your question is a definite yes, we neurotics do have qualms about sitting on toilet seats for when it comes to germs we can obsess aplenty
But we also know better than to take our fears any too lightly, and especially since we are usually surrounded by psychedelics
And yes, we really are anxious and quite fearful people, and we are hung-up and phobic too; and we are almost always disturbed by our own irrational dementias
However, if you were to observe us in our day-to-day journeys then we might even appear to be sane to you; and even though much of our time is spent in the absence of reality, our main goal in life is just to be normal
Though at times, our lives may appear to be humorous to most, for when folks ask us if it isn't more fun to live in limbo we usually answer by saying that questions like those seem comical to us for we know that it's impossible for us to control our emotions; and so therefore, we feel that we shouldn't even have to concern ourselves with such human frailties
A friend of mine, who's also neurotic, once asked me how best to define sanity, but I told him that he needs not to worry; just continue to say, all you can do, is all you can do, and those nine little words will see you through
There are times, however, when the act of being neurotic can be highly advantageous, and especially since we think of ourselves as paragons anyway and not so unlike the paladins of old
Therefore, our mission in life is not to prove that we're the same as everybody else, or even different from most, it's just simply that we are who we are
Interestingly, though, a so-called normal person I once knew said that he'd rather be him than me; but there he stood, in water to his nose, as sharks swam past his toes
