Never Kissed By A Princess? Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Never Kissed By A Princess?

Rating: 4.8

What happened to the frog
who was never kissed by a princess?
Doomed to ever be a frog
living in a swamp under a slimy log?

What would have happened
to a mortal; like beautiful snow white?
If she had never been kissed
by a prince; or rescued by a heroic knight?

Did the princess really eat a fabled
rosy red; appealing poisoned apple?
Get her pure innocent finger pricked
by a spinning wheel; or fall in an evil deal?

Without the immortal power
of true loves kiss;
there can be no happy ever
after eternal bliss.

Dreams of destiny seized
the power of true love too;
are belief systems pursued
purchase price paid is up to you.
