Never Rush To Offer Forgiveness Poem by Hebert Logerie

Never Rush To Offer Forgiveness

Rating: 5.0

Never be too quick to forgive the enemies
Because the copy cats may imitate the hyenas
This just killed the members of several families.

Forgive after praying, after sending subpoenas
Seeking justice, then forgive the perpetrators
Once there is a conviction for the hard-core killers.

Never rush to forgive, never turn the other cheeks
Because the beasts will take advantage of your weakness
Understand what’s at stake, if you give your ears to the ticks
They will presumably eat away your brain and your gentleness.

Forgiveness is not for killing nine innocent children of the Lord
Revenge is not acceptable and vengeance is a dirty word
For our good people who want to reach the steps of Heaven
Never rush to forgive, pray first, and then seek Justice to get even.
