You will never be good you will never make it
You will never be famous no matter how hard you fake it
Your voice will never be heard and your face will never be seen
So what can I at least dream?
Or what do you want me to wake up and snap back into reality
You will never kill my dreams no not another casualty
Because what I do is real not fiction or fantasy
Let me speak a little louder if you’re not understanding me
I said what I do is real this isn’t a game
I don’t care about money I don’t care about fame
I just care about these words that corrupt my brain
And you wanna control my thoughts but they don’t wanna be tamed
They don’t wanna be trapped in society’s cage
They wanna be free performing on stage
And who am I to deny myself the opportunity to express myself
Poetry is my life and you can never take this
What I do is 100% real I could never fake this
I’m not tryna b like any other only me
And you can search for another but it’s only me
I’m a new poet brand new breed
And as long as I have my pen ima succeed
So you can say I will never be anybody if that’s what you believe
But because you say I will never be anybody ima achieve
And be everything that I ever wanted to be
