Never Was There Anybody Poem by Anonymous Poem

Never Was There Anybody

Rating: 5.0

———
Life was hard,
Never put down her guard,
She was scarred.

Father was an alcoholic.
Never got a birthday card,
No sword in hand,
Nothing defending the rumours of her scars.

Life without love,
Really the end of,
Scars had been cut,
Words had been said,
Now for the end.

Her eyes wet with the tears she shed,
The blood she bled,
Crimson red,
Hanging head,
Drop dead.
