Neverending Poem by Alex Avila

I look up in the clouds
and I see that it is neverending
I'm wishing that was me
Maybe one day I'll join them and we'll both run free
Who knows what God has in store for me
I just gotta wait patiently
She says we need a break
She's leaving me
I say why are you leaving me at my most vulnerability
She's my everything, the food I eat, the air I breathe,
I tell her I'm going to change, she can't wait
I'm going to prove to her that I'm no liar
I gotta earn her trust back, I know I can do that
Yea I can, she's nothing without her main man
Never doing that again
What a scary moment, such a horrible feeling
Never liked the pain
Felt like I was lonely and feeling like God wanted to take me
For a split second, I felt like I surrendered to my demons, to my mistakes, my regrets, for a split second

I was gone
I joined the clouds, where I belong,
where I can run, with nothing chasing me
Wish life was this easy
Like Chris Martin once said,
'Tell me you love me and come back and haunt me,
oh what a rush to the start.'
And we start back to one
Back to the beginning, neverending
I never want this moment to end

Just me and you till the end, ride into the sunset,
riding with the clouds, with no stress on our minds
All I got is you by my side
Tonight it's just you and me
Two bodies into one
Just one big heart, one solid love

The way it should be done
Just pleasure and fun
Wings on my back, their my engine, as I sit on the clouds,
I'm going all over the world, I'm sky high
Giving God high fives, this moment is neverending
The way it should be
God blessed me, by living free, no guilt's, no worries
Just me and my lady, this is neverending love
Sitting on top of the world, the cloud's my throne
I might be gone but I'll be neverending
