It is wonderful to see so many joyful faces,
To hear and experience the exchange of well wishes,
Among so many strangers and acquaintances.

It is amazing to feel the love of many family members.
Everybody is laughing. The skirmishes of past years
Are gone with the wind and sealed in the coffers.

Yesterday does not matter; only today counts.
The air is filled-up with hope and very small doubts.
Everyone is trying to follow righteous and positive routes.

It is very reassuring that the world has a new attitude.
Everyone is on board; we are focusing on new latitude.
Finally, we are about to reach the highest amplitude.

Let's all enjoy the fireworks and the singing of the crowd.
Listen to the cheers and the euphonious speeches. Let's be loud.
Let's dance and celebrate. Let's be jubilant and proud.
