New Year's Parade Poem by Poetical Analysis

New Year's Parade

Rating: 5.0

White Man's lies that builds their lives upon those graves of slaughtered braves
Claim their wealth is what they saved
Whilst living entombed within Plato's Cave
No price is too great all debts shall be paid upon this alter are not colored children laid
So rich white investors can get a profit made & the clergy can tell the congregation obey
Not to allow even one child to sway to burn that thread that dare to fray
Are not these the only prayers prayed to conceal the identity of all those slayed
Of the role your parents played of this tragic charade that extends in time like a New Year's parade
Or, a sacrifice never made to keep it all simple enough where white families get paid
To prove to them, like dogs, it pays to obey so treat your very own white children this way
& bound to this cause they shall ever stay
