A Briton, not a Teuton, he
on physic’s laws made mutiny.
For falling apples avid, he
discovered laws of gravity,
still notably most Newtony,
though modified, of course by Al-
bert Einstein, who went thrice to Cal,
the Tech that has more Nobel Prizes
per capita than Cam or Isis
or Charles, in its wise-west locale,
but chose to stay in Princeton where
he thought the faculty would care
far more about ideas he’d scatter,
like speed of light and splitting matter
with energy as wild as hair.

The Huntington Museum in San Marino reminds its members that it contains the third largest collection of manuscripts and books on Sir Isaac Newton.
