Next Door Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Next Door

Rating: 5.0

Behold the beauty
That is gift from almighty
It may appear in rainbow
Special arm of divine nature to glow

What an impressive show of colors?
Any one may be compelled to thin with honor
Are we part of such nice universe?
Why then take it differently and curse?

It is great to witness real glamorous face?
Enough to bring shine with gladness
What makes to change lines on cheeks?
Even when we only desire to seek

Yes beauty is far to reach
That is only aim to teach
Love is not in acquiring
But with words only admiring

Pluck the flower
And it spoils the hard work of shower
What are we intending to preserve?
I think best course is not to seek but serve

Even someone is next door
Beautiful and with fragrance and flavor
Treat her as lovely neighbor
Seek not but praise therefore
