Night In Detroit Poem by Damian Robinson

Night In Detroit

</></></></>As the sun sets on the ruins of a once great city
The demons stir
Zombies shuffle along with that familiar lean
The light sucked from their eyes
Killing what's left of their humanity with their cannibalism
As the hunger overwhelms them
With the vampires sucking the life from their veins
Seducing their next victims with the promise of escape
Delivering only death
And in this hell god is there
And the meaning of life becomes clear
In this place where the mighty have fallen
And the weak inherit the scraps
