Night Of Dreary Poem by Adam M Snow

Night Of Dreary

Night of Dreary
By: Adam M. Snow

The moon beams upon roses of blood;
to those who sought the everlasting flood.
It is this night that I sought and wander;
for everything I've done, I've stopped to ponder.

Will I awaken or will I die?
This is the night that I cry.

Tis be my night of dreary wonder;
all and all why did I blunder?
In the dark I must lie;
for all things must truly die.

So let the voices echo in the night;
telling me whether or not I should fight.
It is this night that I sought and wander;
for everything I've done, I've stopped to ponder.

Will I awaken or will I die?
This is the night that I cry.

Why, oh why did I left my body so cold;
all alone with no sight to behold?
Who am I now for I am someone who is lost?
For nevermore is my soul cold like frost.

Twas upon this night of dreary;
that my essence was cold and weary.
I see the shadows coming for me;
though I not know what the curse may be.

Could it be that this is the end;
that there's nothing left for me to fend?
It is this night that I sought and wander;
for everything I've done, I've stopped to ponder.

Will I awaken or will I die?
This is the night that I cry.
