Night Runner - Poem by joseph harlacher 111

dig deep
through out the grounds speed
paw to paw
paw after paw
claw to grade
high into the under brush
a few dogs after deer
this was the run
headlamp sun
they did run
into the local star lights glade
we pierced the sod
with each step
deeper and deeper
into the woods
