# night songs

a shadow stood before me
...damp blood on my hand

*

do not abuse me
a stone
d
r
o
p
p
e
d
across the thoroughfare

*

a stain of blood on my sword
...experience a noose around my neck

*

who has written
'a hell for every god'
on each leaf?

*

i stand in the mirror and brood
'how many angels did i murder? '

*

i too am moon;
i have a smear on my face

*

searching for long
i find all the rooms locked

*

there isn't any reflection
...here all are ghosts
