Night Time Poem by Camilla Fodgaard

This eerie feeling I get
mixed with the sense of safety
overthrow my body as watch the moon hidden behind the veils
The trees surrounding me are nothing but silhouettes
against the dark blue sky
They sway with such elegance and I want to dance with them
The stars are gone
for now
but I sense their presence close at hand and I am home
I glance up at the sky
the beauty attacks my soul
for no more than a second
and I find my self lying on the grass
The green grass
Knocked out by nature I am enlightened
