Dreams, dreams go away
Come back another day

These nightmares that haunt me
Are very odd
As soon as I close my eyes
A distant blackness in my vision
Through the mist they come
One by one
Like marching soldiers in the dozens.

Dreams, dreams go away
Come back another day

Sleepless nights go away
I want to dream on the good side
Away from the darkness that is pulling me in
They keep bugging me
‘ Does this child ever sleep’
But they don’t know what is going on in my head.

Today I wish for sleepiness night
A safe dream in my head.
