Nine Years Poem by Kimberly Wares

Nine Years

Nine years of fighting
Fighting without a cause
Just like a tiger
Bites, shreds, and claws
Nine years of crying
Crying over our suffers
Praying that our people
Will stop killing each other
Nine years of dying
Dying for what I say?
A feud that’s unstoppable
Will it stop? Highly improbable
Are these nine years worth
All the damage they’ve done?
Are we still going to suffer
For the years to come?
