No Birds Are Seen
No birds are seen in open
They are on compulsory vacation
The sky is full of colorful kites
The loud music leads to everybody’s delight
It is New Year day here
It is celebrated with different names all over
The kite is taken to sky with long thread
The birds loose their wings and fall as dead
The appeal is issued by bird lovers
Enjoy but call us for help from anywhere
“We may pick wounded birds” the message is read
I enjoy not this day as it causes death
Someone’s throat is cut when speeding on vehicle
The thread does his work and lends person in trouble
“The kite festival brings misfortune” for some of the families
It brings tears for entire life to weep daily
We, in the family, took vow
We shall not fly the kites from now
We shall protect the birds and render assistance
It is the happy occasion but brings tragedy too at once
Whole of the sky is full of kites
There is not even an inch space
No birds or vultures in open sky
The strong wind helps all to fly the kites
Sir, I thank you for this beautiful poem. Now-a-days, we are crying for a palmfull nature. Alienation is everywhere and we are compelled to live a life of artificial.
